What is Cyber Security Assurance?

Cyber Security Assurance means the third party has analyzed the security of the system and prepared a brief report to ensure the safety of your systems and environment. Cyber Security Assurance is the guarantee that the organization will be safe from all kinds of security breaches and access control. The objective is to identify organization’s risks and determine their cyber security maturity.

The Assessment consists of two parts - Inherent Risk Profile and Cybersecurity Maturity. The Inherent Risk Profile identifies the organization’s inherent risk before implementing controls. The Cyber Security Maturity includes domains, assessment factors, components, and individual declarative statements across five maturity levels to identify specific controls and practices that are in place. While management can determine the organization’s maturity level in each domain, the Assessment is not designed to identify an overall cyber security maturity level.
